QUESNEL has been chosen as the staging airport for the western contingent of the Midnight Sun Challenge. The Midnight Sun Challenge is the second annual flight of the Century Flight Club.
The flight will depart Quesnel July 17, 2010 on their way to Whitehorse, Yukon. There will be 60 - 70 aircraft converging
on Quesnel July 15 & 16 in preparation for departure in conjunction with Quesnel's Billy Barker Days. Look forward
to very exciting Billy Barker Days/Midnight Sun Challenge celebrations!! Stay tuned for more updates.
GAZEBO
PROJECT - We have committed to building a gazebo in the airport campground this year. We are working on procuring some
funding with the intention of breaking ground as soon as the ground has thawed. We will keep you posted as to its progress.
